New Toothbrush!

Finally I had some time to buy a toothbrush! I've usually prefer to use the manual brush but it wasn't really working out for me, so I bought a Oral-B professional care 3000. Well there was a cheaper version of it but I figured might as well spend the money with a better one, the one that can last longer.

Periodontal Disease!

Ahh! Just done my cleaning from the dental hygienist! Gosh I was really bad this time around, my dental examination showed that I'm on the verge of getting periodontal disease! Ah!! Well I know I've been lazy lately but I figured brushing would do the work, not! I need to practice what I preach! Gosh that was soo embarrassing! I'm determined to floss everyday! I don't want to loose my precious, beautiful teeth! To those lazy people who dont like to floss... FLOSS!! You dont want to be that guy on the far right picture! BWAHAHAHA okok

G&G/Dueba DI Diamond Series in Green Review

Hey guys! I got these circle lenses from kiwiberry-1 collection (http://www.kiwiberry1-collection.com/), and I have to be honest, I love them. My first impressions were that whoa! Dark Green! Pretty! This is because it really doesn’t show as bright green but a subtle dark green. They were really comfortable; it was like I wasn’t wearing one at all. If you have dark brown eyes like mine, it would blend well giving it an almost natural green eye color. I know it doesn't really show but click on the picture and you'll see it better. BTW, I have a tutorial for this look but I don't know if I should do it, let me know if at least one of you guys want to know how to get this look.

Los Medicos Voladores, Oasis Trip October 2010

 It was yet a great opportunity for me to go to another LMV trip to Oasis! I know its November now but I can still remember the experience of being there. What made this trip special to me was the fact that it was my first time riding on a small airplane.

 

 The adventure begun early morning on October 15, I had to go to lab early to finish my transformation protocol for my BY-2 cells. Luckily I had Hong to finish the last part of the protocol (thanks Hong!). My good friend Aimee and Jen picked me up to go to the Truckee airport to meet our pilot Bob and leave for Thermal Ca.  The experience in riding a small airplane was very unique in which it felt like a personal and more intimate. Flying commercial was like riding a train with all these people in it, but in flying on a smaller plane it felt like we were on a car on a road trip. The ride was loud and bumpy, but with the skill of our pilot, it wasn’t as bad as I imagined. It was although scary but safe at the same time, the kind of feeling that you’re in a roller coaster but with reliable safety as well. Weather wise, it was cold to really cold to really hot, you see flying over Palm Springs was just like flying through the desert but higher (which means hotter). The scenery was just amazing, everything was small, the clouds were in our reach and we were as tall as the mountains. Upon arriving, the weather was very different from up north, hot and I loved the feeling (well especially now cause its cold here right now, even though I hate being hot). We met 2 dentists and a hygienist and another pilot when we landed and they took us to we’re we would stay for the next two nights. We ate food at this wonderful Italian restaurant and further met more amazing people! And after all the fun and socializing the work began.
 We had to set up some more in the location for the dental clinic that we were going to work at for tomorrow. There I got to help out on setting up and learning about some basics in assisting a dentist such as how to load anesthetic, suctioning, etc. The next day, early in the morning the chaos started. Upon arriving, we saw a long line of people waiting to be seen by a medical doctor, optometrists, dentists, hygienists, etc. It was overwhelming to see all these people, because to think we have to see them? On 8am I had to find a dentist that needed a dental assistant, it was hard because somehow most of the dentists had dental assistants already. So I went into the ‘The smile factory truck’ and I found one, YES! From then on I was assisting him from amalgams, to extractions, to composites, to sterilizing the instruments, to sterilizing the seat, to curing, to suctioning, to running back and forth from the truck to the clinic to grab him tools. I have to tell you the running back and forth was interesting because here we were in this peaceful truck and when I went to the clinic it was utter chaos! Lol I don’t know how many patients we saw but I know it was at least more than 10 because the dental clinic saw 220 patients total!! Woot woot! I was soo happy for the experience because there were its ups and downs that came with that day. One of the worst things that happened to me was that I broke a dental drill; I felt so bad and I told south bay that I broke it; the lesson was that it was made to break anyways and it already happened. I know for sure not to do that again! To this day I felt so bad because a drill costs like a thousand dollars! Moving on, the day turned into night and the lasts of the patients were coming in and we had to move to the clinic, luckily the clinic was calmed down a bit. But then again we were placed by sterilization. As it ended I got to assist a dental student who was doing a very hard extraction, in which he ended up being the assistant and his mentor teaching him, it was soo cool cause I got to see a case that was unique, and the guy had a root canal on the tooth that was being extracted on. Since it was very brittle it was hard to extract the tooth. Now I was assisting to the part where the first part of the

Whoa! 2NE1 with another good music video! It is a really interesting mc in the fact that the setting is gloomy, a perfect mood that they set to portray the feeling of being left and jumping to another girl. Not only did their voices sound great they looked amazing! I love their make-up and hair! oh well ENJOY!

Dandelion!

I love this picture!! Oh the Dandelion! Oh soo pretty! I guess it is the most misunderstood plant in the world, or maybe just in America... oh well...
The Dandelion or the taraxum officinale is known to produce rubber?
It could be the vital source of rubber here in America rather than the 'rubber tree'.
Interesting plant I might say... maybe because I work with them in Lab lol!
